Antique Fire Engine Festival of Texas
September 27, 2003 at Fish Trap Lake
The West Dallas Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with
The Texas Fire Museum,
Dallas Fire-Rescue, and The Muscular Dystrophy Association sponsored the inaugural
Antique Fire Engine Festival of Texas on September 27, 2003 at Fish Trap Lake
located on Singleton Blvd near Hampton Road in West Dallas.
The festival gave Dallas Fire-Rescue the opportunity to continue
their "fill the boot" campaign held every year to benefit the Muscular
Dystrophy Association.
Area fire departments brought their own Antique
Fire Engines to display along with individuals that own their own Antique
Fire Engines. It was the first opportunity for the public to view these
mint condition Fire Engines together in one place.

in Highland Park.
